PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce payload conveying cost, upgrade and expand other structures, improve structural reliability and facilitate remodeling of a ship body size for an airship with a gondola mounted on by reducing stress acting on an outer cover constituting a ship body. SOLUTION: In the airship 1 having the ship body 10 constituted of the flexible outer cover 11 and the gondola 20 suspended under the ship body 10, a belt-like film material 30 is provided on a substantially intermediate part of the ship body 10 in a longitudinal direction to be extended downward along an outer surface of the ship body 10.
