<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable manufacturing method by vapor deposition of a rare-earth magnet powder whose surface is coated with an aluminum film which is useful for manufacturing a rare-earth bonded magnet having high corrosive resistance and oxidation resistance and superior in adhesiveness and film quality, and which is composed of fine crystal grains having superior magnetic characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the rare-earth magnet powder whose surface is coated with an aluminum film and average crystal grain diameter is 1 μm or less, as evaporating aluminum while supplying an aluminum wire continuously to a melting and evaporating part of a resistance heating system, the surface of the magnet powder is coated with the aluminum film by an ion plating method while vibrating and/or stirring the magnet powder at 50°C-330°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
