Conveyor roller with retractable axle

The roller consists of a tube (11) with a cylindrical housing (12) fixed in each end by a force fit or crimping, each housing having an inner cavity (12b) forming a seat for a bearing (13) supporting a retractable shaft (14) and a cap (15) for a connector (16) fixed to the shaft. The cap at one end of the shaft contains a spring (17) between its base and the shaft connector to return the shaft to its initial position after being withdrawn. The various components of the roller are assembled in a single operation.
