PURPOSE: A method for tracking a three-dimensional position using a three-dimensional camera unit is provided to easily measure the three-dimensional position of an object to be inspected by measuring the object to be inspected having no a measurement reference point by using a three-dimensional camera appliance. CONSTITUTION: A method for tracking a three-dimensional position using a three-dimensional camera unit includes the steps of: obtaining a plane position data of the object to be inspected; obtaining plural three-dimensional edge point position data of the object to be inspected; and concluding the central position of the object to be inspected. The object to be inspected includes a movable assembly element. The method for tracking the thee-dimensional position using a three-dimensional camera unit further includes a step of measuring a central position of the movable assembly element.
