<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piercing terminal or the like capable of stably connecting the piercing terminal with flat type flexible cables when mechanically and electrically connecting two or more flat type flexible cables superposed in a thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: The piercing terminal 100 is provided with a baseplate 110, at least one first piece 120 vertically standing from the baseplate and at least one second piece 130 slantly standing from the baseplate. The first piece penetrates all flat type flexible cables, its tip end projected from the second flat type flexible cable is folded back and a sheath of the second flat type flexible cable is broken to obtain an electrical connection with a conductor. A sheath of the first flat type flexible cable is broken so that the second piece is electrically connected with the conductor. The tip end projected from the second flat type flexible cable is folded back to be resiliently contacted with the second flat type flexible cable by contact pressure, and the second piece can be resiliently contacted with the first flat type flexible cable by contact pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
