<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway apparatus capable of efficiently and effectively using a physical line with a limited communication band in response to the connection state of a PPPoE session without the need for a user to set a packet read ratio by its own consideration every time the PPPoE session is connected / disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: Packets are shared and stored to queues #1 to #3 with different priority in each of sessions #1 to #3, the packets stored in the queues #1 to #3 of each of the sessions #1 to #3 are read at a predetermined ratio, and in the disconnection / or connection of each of the sessions #1 to #3, the packet read ratio is recalculated so that the total sum of communication bands of each of the sessions #1 to #3 set at that time is equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
