APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING SIGNAL OF RADIO RADAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing signals of a radio radar for reliably detecting sensitivity degradation of the radio radar. SOLUTION: Signals from a CW radar are received, and reception power detected by the oscillation of the CW radar is averaged for every direction. A maximum value and a minimum value of the reception power are detected for every direction to compute the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value. In addition, the average power values of the acquired reception power are computed. Slice processing is performed through the use of threshold values indicated by a polygonal line or a curved line in a two-dimensional plane in which the differences between the maximum values and the minimum values and the average power values are plotted to coordinate axes.
