The cover element (1) for the lining of pipe bushings through wall, ceiling or floor areas, for example, is made from high grade steel, brass, copper, aluminum, or different sorts of steels and plastics, and can be manufactured with different surface qualities. The cover element consists of two detachable halves and is easily dismantled through high grade steel hexagon socket cylinder screws (2) by the use of a conventional tool. The screws are completely recessed in a countersunk hole (3).
