Coriolis mass flow/density sensor with a single straight measuring conduit

The device has a single straight measurement tube (10), can be inserted into a pipeline and carries a flow of measurement fluid when operating. The measurement tube is stimulated (40) to coupled bending and torsional vibrations and has at least two attached cantilever masses (20,20a,..) with centers of gravity in a common plane perpendicular to the plane of flexural vibration, but generally not on the tube axis, configured for optimal balancing.
