A conveyance comprising dual, endless belts (2), driven synchronously, has multiple attachments (4) for holding the filled sausage sleeve (not shown). They are held by snap connections on the belts, as well as similarly connected portioning attachments (6), at intervals that define the length of the sausages in the string. The attachments (4,6), in paired positions on the two belts, can be varied as to profile and interval to enable making alternative sausage shapes and for maintenance.
