Cuboidal packaging comprises a square material sheet (1) made of foldable material divided into nine squares by fold marks or grooves (2). The corner regions (8-11) are provided with a diagonal fold mark or groove (12) which runs from the inner corner to the outer corner to divide the corner region into mirror-inverted triangular regions (a, b). On folding along the marks or diagonal grooves the triangular regions are drawn forward and form an inner-lying square opening when the side regions (4-7) are raised. The fold edges of the folded corner regions cross over a hollow chamber in a wedge-shaped manner. Preferred Features: The packaging is made of card, cardboard, rigid transparent or colored plastic foil, or a foil of another material.
