STEERABLE-BEAM ANTENNA DEVICE AND A PLANAR DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA

The invention relates to antenna devices used for wireless local communication networks. The inventive antenna device comprises planar directional antennas (1), each of them being embodied in the form of a dielectric plate (2), and an active element (5) of the antenna (1) arranged on said plate. The metallised surface of the plate (2) is oriented towards said active element and is used as the reflector (6) of the antenna (1). The plates (2) are connected to each other by the edges thereof in such a way that they form the side faces of the hollow body (9) of the device. The end face (10) is embodied in the form a dielectric plate (11) which is provided with a metallised external surface and can comprise the active element (12) of an antenna (13). An antenna switch (14) is arranged on the internal surface of the end face (10) of the body (9) and connected to the active elements of the antenna (1). The active element (5) is fixed with the aid of pins embodied from the body of said active element by punching it and bending such produced notches. Said invention makes it possible to produce simple and less expensive antennas and antenna devices based on printed circuits and to avoid manual operations for the production and assembling thereof.
