PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive pickup that can obtain correct focusing by stabilizing the focusing feedback control. SOLUTION: This pickup for an optical disk drive is provided with a piezoelectric element 30 on a pickup chassis 44 of an objective lens actuator 20. It is made to generate canceling vibrations B* by using the piezoelectric element 30, to cancel reaction vibrations B, when the focus point of the objective lens 11 is feedback-controlled.
