PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas flowmeter which is capable of clearly displaying the presence of a gas flow even if the gas flow to be measured is a weak one. SOLUTION: A display 17 in the gas flowmeter 11 has an image bar 51, where a plurality of display segments 51a, 51b, 51c, and the like are aligned in a line. A flow rate arithmetic unit 15 has an image bar control part 27 which lights or turns on and off the plurality of display segments 51a, 51b, 51c, and the like in the image bar 51 successively from the end in a prescribed time difference when detecting an instantaneous flow rate higher than a predetermined value or more.
