PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verge member for preventing raindrops to the verge side and excellent in weathering. SOLUTION: In this verge member, a connecting part 19 of a verge cover 1 where a flat surface part 11, a slant part 12 obliquely raised from one of the right and left of the flat surface part 11 to be gradually increased in height toward the end, a side part 14 bent down from the end edge, and a bent part 15 bent from the lower edge of the side part 14 inward are formed. A claw part 15a is formed on the bent part 15, a connecting part 19 bent inward is formed on the other side of the flat surface part 11, a bent part 16 is formed on the eaves side of the flat surface part, and a slant closing part 17a closing the bent down part 16, the slant part 12 and the side part 14 is formed; and the connecting 19 and a permanent plate connecting part 23 of a permanent plate 2 are combined.
