PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical fiber suitable for economically fabricating clothes excellent in quick-drying of absorbed moisture and keeping warm, and to provide a resin composition for the chemical fiber. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a polymer material A suitable for spinning into the chemical fiber, a globular powdery silicone resin B having an average particular size of≤8μm, and a powdery far-infrared radiating material C having an average particular size of≤0.5μm. The above globular powdery silicone resin B consists of a globular silicone polymer insoluble and infusible with a three-dimensional crosslinking structure, and the above powdery far-infrared radiating material C is particularly preferably one having the ability to radiate far-infrared in an amount of at least 10% in excess of the one radiated from the human body.
