PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation detector for a non-grounded power supply for facilitating the identification of an anomaly occurrence factor when an anomaly has occurred. SOLUTION: Wires 13a and 13b on the positive and negative terminal sides are equipped with a sensor part 5 for detecting the value of insulation resistance of a DC power supply 3 insulated from a grounded potential part 15 relative to the potential part 15, and a data transmission part 7 for transmitting data acquired by the sensor part 5. The sensor part 5 has a circuit capable of series-connecting a capacitor 17 between the power supply 3 and the potential part 15 for a preset period of time, and a calculation means 19 for calculating insulation resistance based on the voltage of the power supply 3 and the inter-terminal voltage of the capacitor 17 when the capacitor 17 is series-connected between the power supply 3 and the potential part 15 for the preset period of time. The transmission part 7 transmits, as data, the value of the calculated insulation resistance, the inter-terminal voltage of the capacitor 17 used for calculating the insulation resistance, and the voltage of the power supply 3 used for calculating the insulation resistance.
