IMAGING LENS SYSTEM, AND IMAGING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens system which is balanced in low cost, small size and high performance, and to provide an imaging device using the imaging lens system. SOLUTION: The imaging lens system of the imaging device is a zoom lens system that has at least three lens groups including positive power lens groups G1, G2 and a negative power lens group G3 and that varies magnification by varying intervals among lens groups. With the total number of lenses not more than eight, the system satisfies (1) 0.07<δg/IH<0.23, (2) 1.8W<8% whereδgis a difference between a back focal distance at a d-line and at a g-line in the telephoto end of the zoom lens system, IH is the maximum image height in an image plane, WideFno and TeleFno are the F numbers at the d-line in the wide angle end and the telephoto end respectively, and DTLWis a distortion quantity at the d-line at an angle of view of 28.0°in the wide angle end.
