PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a method for manufacturing the LCD panel are provided to prevent static electricity from being introduced into a thin film transistor array. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(40) includes a plurality of supply lines and a shorting bar(50). The plurality of supply lines are formed on a non-display region and intersect scribing lines of a substrate. The supply lines provide driving signals to signal lines of a display region(46). The shorting bar is formed round intersections of the scribing lines and the supply lines and removed by a grinding process. The display region includes liquid crystal cells and thin film transistors respectively connected between the signal lines and the liquid crystal cells. The LCD panel further includes a plurality of multiplexers(MUX1,MUXk) for time-division-driving the signal lines. The active layers of the thin film transistors and switching elements(SW1,SW2,SW3) included in the multiplexers are formed of polysilicon. The supply lines include control lines(CL1,CL2,CL3) for supplying control signals to the switching elements and data input lines(DIL) for supplying video signals to the switching elements. The shorting bar intersects the control lines.
