<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit which has a small number of transistors and a small area and to provide a display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A negative voltage power source 42 supplies a specified voltage. A vertical-side output line 44 outputs VBB of the negative voltage power source 42 to a display part. A vertical-side decoding line 46 transmits a decoded signal generated by a vertical-side counter 12. A signal line 30 is the vertical-side output line 44 at the VBB. Provided is a branching structure such that the number of signal lines 30 decreases gradually toward the negative voltage power source 42. A switch element 32 is a transistor provided to a signal line corresponding to a decoded signal of the vertical-side decoding line 46 in order to select the signal line 30.
