<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle member which is used for a light alloy injection molding machine and which has excellent erosion resistance and heat shock resistance, and can prevent the damage. <P>SOLUTION: In the nozzle member used for an injection molding machine for injection-molding the light alloy, at least the internal surface coming in contact with molten metal is formed of a sintered body constituted of silicon nitride as the main component. The sintered body has ≥ 50 W/(m×K) thermal conductivity and ≥ 500 MPa four point bending strength, both at room temperature. Further, the sintered body constituted of the silicon nitride as the main component is arranged in the inner surface of an outer cylinder constituting the main body of the nozzle main member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
