<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support an operator in order to allow anyone to easily create a structured document in which necessary items are described. <P>SOLUTION: When a character string is inputted/converted/decided by KANA/Chinese character conversion software, a proper tag is displayed or decided with the character string. The set of pre-conversion character string (reading) and a post-conversion character string (notation) is stored in a conversion dictionary, and a portion of post-conversion character string is made correspond to a specific tag in specific DTD (document type definition). When any candidate made to correspond to the tag is decided, a tag in the low order of the tag is displayed with an icon, or directly inserted into a sentence with the candidate. Thus, it is possible to easily create a structured document even without providing any dedicated application such as ah MTML editor by using the KANA/Chinese character conversion software. Also, it is possible to insert a predetermined tag into a significant part (point part) in the input sentence with language processing at the time of KANA/Chinese character conversion as a basic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
