发明名称 OPTICAL ELEMENT USING ONE-DIMENSIONAL PHOTONIC CRYSTAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectral element using a photonic crystal having a small size and high wavelength resolution. SOLUTION: The optical element composed of a periodical multilayer structure which is deemed as a one-dimensional photonic crystal is adopted, and the optical element has 1st, 2nd end surfaces slanting to a layer surface of the multilayer structure and not parallel each other. The optical element is configured so that an incoming light flux is made incident to the 1st end surface from one side of the layer surface, and an outgoing light flux is emitted to the same side of the layer surface from the 2nd end surface. The slanting end surface is structured by forming roughly triangularly-sectioned recessed and projected grooves on a surface of a multilayer film layer, forming the groove side surface corresponding to one slanting side of the triangularly-sectioned shape as an incoming light surface, and forming the groove side surface corresponding to another slanting side of the triangularly-sectioned shape as an outgoing light surface.
