PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding apparatus with which the drive mechanism of a mid-mower attached to the lower part of a traveling body is simplified and maintenance is facilitated. SOLUTION: In the weeding apparatus with which two cutting blades 31 and 31 rotatably arranged in a mower deck 28 are rotated mutually in the opposite directions to reap weeds and the reaped weeds are released from a weed discharge route 33 at the center of the mower deck 28 to the rear, a toothed drive pulley 44 to be rotated and driven by receiving power from an engine 6 side is arranged on the mower deck 28, a toothed belt 55 is wound among the toothed drive pulley 44, toothed input pulleys 54 and 54 on cutting blade drive shafts 15 and 15 for supporting the two cutting blades 31 and 31.
