PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher having a means covering a clearance formed between a drawn-out washing tub and a washer body when enlarging the draw-out capacity of the washing tub from the washer body. SOLUTION: If the washing tub 32 is so formed that, at least, the upper part of the inner wall rear surface of the washing tub 32 can be drawn out till being positioned in the front side of the front end of the washer body 31, a cover is eliminated on the upper whole surface of the washing vessel 32 to facilitate the taking-in/out of dishes. However, the clearance is formed between the rear part of the washing tub 32 and the washer body 31. A cover plate extending from the rear surface peripheral of the washing tub 32 to the rear part is provided for covering the clearance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
