PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for attracting and capturing insect pests designed neither to propagate flies, or the like, nor to grow the plurality of flies, or the like, inside a container, not to deteriorate attractancy for the insect pests. SOLUTION: This apparatus for attracting and capturing the insect pests is equipped with a capturing part 2, an attracting source and hydroplanes 3 in the container 1 having an insect inlet 13. Thereby, hatching of eggs laid in the interior of the container 1 or pupation of larvae is prevented by actions of the hydroplanes 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
