PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walk-in mechanism capable of both locking a slide mechanism and walking in, and to simplify a construction, to reduce weight, to cut down a cost, and to diversify seat arrangement. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat is equipped with the slide mechanism 3 for making a seat 1 slidable forward and rearward relative to a vehicle body, a reclining mechanism 4 for controlling the inclining angle of a backrest 2 relative to the seat 1, and the walk-in mechanism 5 unlocking the lock of the slide mechanism 3 to move a whole seat forwardly when the backrest 2 is forwardly inclined to a predetermined position. Further, in a walk-in device of the vehicular seat, the walk-in mechanism 5 is constructed such that the slide mechanism 3 is locked when the backrest is in the inclined angle other than the predetermined position in which the whole seat is forwardly moved by unlocking the lock of slide mechanism 3.
