A stoppable slider 1 for a zip fastener has a hook piece 2 and a leaf spring 31 to lock the slider in position on the zip. A gap 44 and a second leaf spring 32 are arranged so that the pull tab (5, Fig 4) of the zip can be added later. This allows the pull tab to be selected by the user, rather than the manufacturer, of the zip. A single leaf spring may be used, see 3a in Figure 11. |
