PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise without increasing a chip-size. SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device sequentially selects one line from a plurality of lines in a sensor array 100 with a plurality of photoelectric transducers 110 arranged thereon, and sequentially reads out signal charges (S) and reset levels (N) of the photoelectric transducers from the selected line via optical-signal side common output lines and noise-signal side common output lines, and differential signals are amplified and output via an S-N reading circuit 150. In this solid-state image pickup device, the optical-signal side common output lines 210, 230 and the noise-signal side common output lines 220, 240 are arranged parallel to one another in order of the optical-signal side common output line 210, the noise-signal side common output line 220, the noise-signal side common output line 240, and the optical-signal side common output line 230.
