<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step device provided on a platform side in order to eliminate any gap between the platform and a vehicle in which the cost can be reduced by omitting any expensive linear guide rail, and an execution work and a maintenance work are easy. <P>SOLUTION: The step device comprises a case 2 embedded in a platform, a step 7 to be supported by the case, and a drive means to advance/retract the step to/from the vehicle side. The step 7 is fixed to a frame-body like frame 8. A frame 8y has a first rotating body 11 rotatable around the horizontal axis 9 in the direction orthogonal to the advancing/retracting direction of the step 7 and a second rotating body 12 rotatable around the perpendicular axis 9 in the direction orthogonal to the advancing/rotating direction of the step 7. Both upper and lower sides of the first rotating body 11 and a side part of the second rotating body 12 are abutted on the case 2 or members (3, 21 and 22) fixed to the case 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
