<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solid electrolyte glass having high lithium ion conductivity and an anisotropic ion conducting passage, and to obtain an all-solid battery having the extremely low-level deterioration of its characteristics when it is exposed to high temperatures like ones in a solder reflow tank by using this solid electrolyte for the battery. <P>SOLUTION: This lithium ion conducting solid electrolyte contains at least a lithium sulfide (Li2S), and also contains at least one kind selected from a niobium sulfide and a tantalum sulfide. In this lithium ion conducting electrolyte, the niobium sulfide having a high fusing point or the tantalum sulfide is used for a material to form a glass mesh, and the lithium sulfide is used for a material to modify the mesh. Thereby, the all-solid battery having high lithium ion conductivity, excellent heat resistance, and stability at high temperatures is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
