PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bonded product of an ethylene-α-olefin rubber composition with a fiber in which an ethylene-α-olefin rubber composition can favorably be bonded to a woven fabric such as a fiber cord which becomes a core wire for driving belt and a cover canvas and to provide a driving belt. SOLUTION: The method for producing the bonded product of the ethylene-α-olefin rubber composition with the fiber comprises carrying out over coat treatment of the fiber with a rubber paste obtained by compounding ethylene-α-olefin-diene copolymer rubber latex with a processing aid containing a fatty acid metal salt, paraffins and polyvalent carboxylic acid esters and an isocyanate compound and then bringing the treated fiber into close contact with an unvulcanized rubber composition of ethylene-α-olefin rubber and vulcanizing the rubber composition.
