PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load-collapse preventing device for a vehicle for preventing damage of a load-collapse preventing sheet and easily absorbing shock. SOLUTION: The load-collapse preventing device 2 for the vehicle has the load-collapse preventing sheet 4 pitched between a seat back 1a of a rear seat 1 disposed in the vehicle and the ceiling of the vehicle. The load-collapse preventing device 2 has a sheet mounting shaft 8 arranged in the width direction of the vehicle and mounted to one end of the load-collapse preventing sheet 4. The load-collapse preventing device 2 also has a clip body 10 for unpullably holding the load-collapse preventing sheet 4 from the sheet mounting shaft 8 in a slightly wound state of the sheet 4 about the sheet mounting shaft 8 and for pullably holding the load-collapse preventing sheet 4 of a part wound about the sheet mounting shaft 8 by tensile load not lower than a predetermined value acting on the sheet 4.
