PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal powder for grinding a workpiece with high quality and excellent yield for a short period of time by preventing a change of quality of the metal powder, grinding method and pattern forming method for a low melting point glass layer using the metal powder, and a PPD barrier rib manufactured by the methods. SOLUTION: This metal powder satisfies an average particle size of≥10μm and≤30μm and a maximum particle size of≤100μm.
