The device has a harness forming a strap under abdomen, which encircles a child on a pelvis level and buckles itself by a single locking system. Two straps are connected to the strap under abdomen and passes on shoulders of the child. The harness has anchor type snap hooks (38, 42) to retain the child on a vehicle seat. The hook (38) goes up to a shoulder level on one of the straps and hook (42) goes up to a pelvis level.
