PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet for transportation which is easily made, assembled and disassembled and further is light in weight and tough. SOLUTION: The pallet 10 comprises (a) an upper face plate 11 made of a metallic strip face plate having a cross-section in which (n+1) pieces of projecting portions 11a and n (n is a natural number) pieces of recessed portions 11b are arranged alternately and (b) a support member 13 having an approximately square side formed by inward folding and winding the strip face plate at four portions of its lengthwise direction, a cylindrical reinforcing member 14 having a closed cross-section and having cuts 14b on the upper and lower edge portions engaged with the recessed portions of the strip face plate being mated between the upper and lower face plates in at least one position of both the edge portions and the central portion in the lengthwise direction of the support member 13. (c) The pallet 10 for transportation is made by vertically bonding a plurality of support members 13 to the lower portion of a plurality of the upper face plates 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
