PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shape of a shoulder part of a container from being deformed caused by vacuum absorption. SOLUTION: In a bottle type container made of a synthetic resin comprising the shoulder part connected with a mouth part for discharging a content and a trunk part for forming a filling space for the content in a region from this shoulder part to its bottom wall, and having a vacuum absorption panel partitioned and formed by at least one channel to make the trunk part a recess toward the inside of the container, a recessed part along the channel and having a channel depth furthermore deeper than that of this channel is provided in the channel positioned just below the shoulder part of the vacuum absorption panel.
