摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for a supercharger and its manufacturing method for reducing vibration while reducing weight, and enhancing purification efficiency of a catalyst device when applied to an exhaust system having an exhaust emission control catalyst device. SOLUTION: This housing 1 for the supercharger has base parts 2, 21 and 25 fixed to a mating member and a shell body 5 for partitioning a shell chamber 50 for flowing gas and formed of a press molding plate. At least one of one end part 55 and the other end part 56 of the shell body 5 is integrally held by the base part 2. The shell body is set in a casting mold so that a spatial or disappearable molten metal loading part loaded with a molten metal is adjacently arranged in the shell body. The molten metal is injected into the molten metal loading part of the casting mold, and the base parts integral with the shell body are molded by solidifying the molten metal loaded in the molten metal loading part.
