<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image and sound recorder capable of performing stereophonic recording of sound and recording a moving picture with presence. <P>SOLUTION: This image and sound recorder 10 images a field and forms an image signal 103 representing the field. Left and right sounds of the field are collected to form a left sound signal 108 and a right sound signal 110, respectively. Furthermore, a motion vector is detected from the image signal 103 by signal processing, and the most leading moving direction in the image is determined from the motion vector. The left sound signal 108 and the right sound signal 110 are respectively adjusted so as to make left and right volume balance change in accordance with the moving direction, the sound signals are subjected to stereophonic recording to emphasize the transmitting feeling of the sounds, thereby realizing moving picture recording with presence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
