PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a canister for reducing fuel vapor blown off in the atmosphere by removing the fuel vapor passing through the canister. SOLUTION: A first housing chamber 41 and a second housing chamber 42 filled with adsorbents 44 and 45 of the canister 10 communicate with a filter chamber 43 having an atmospheric port 46. A filter 50 is housed in the filter chamber 43. The filter 50 has an activate charcoal part sandwiched between holding layers composed of nonwoven fabric. Among hydrocarbon included in fuel, hydrocarbon unadsorbable/unremovable by the adsorbents 44 and 45 of the canister 10 and having a small number of carbon is adsorbed and removed by the activated charcoal part of the filter 50 even when passing through the adsorbents 44 and 45 of the canister 10.
