PURPOSE: A slim ODD(Optical Disc Drive) is provided to improve an exterior of a product, and to prevent the back of the ODD and an FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit) from being exposed to the outside in case that a CD-RW recording/playing function or a DVD(Digital Versatile Disc) playing function is added. CONSTITUTION: A deck(120) is equipped with a spindle motor(130) rotating an optical disc and an optical pickup(150) sliding to an anti-clockwise direction of the optical disc by forming a projecting part(210) projected to a downward direction. A lower case(110) slides the deck and forms a penetrating part(180) penetrated to a position matched with the projecting part. A cover(200) closes the penetrating part. A lower surface of the cover is not projected to the lower surface of the lower case.
