Breathing air supply plant, especially for the operator of a construction machine, e.g. a digger, operating in hostile environments where breathing of the ambient air is dangerous or harmful. The inventive supply plant has a programmable controlling computer for monitoring and control of the air supply plant. In particular the operator is able to select air supply rates and compressed air or filtered air supplies.
