PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the winding deviation of a sheet-like object in a roll and to prevent creasing from being generated by setting gentle a change in speed in the start and stop of the rotation of a turret arm and preventing the roll mounted to the turret arm from being shocked. SOLUTION: A winding device comprises a turret arm 11 that has a winding shaft, where the roll 15 for winding up the sheet-like object 14 is mounted, and is rotated by a rotary shaft 12; a drive source for rotating the rotary shaft 12; and a control apparatus 17 for controlling the drive source so that a change in the rotational speed of the turret arm 11 becomes gentle immediately after rotation start and immediately before rotation stop.
