PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and accurate lens driving device. SOLUTION: The lens driving device is equipped with a front lens frame 31 supporting a front lens 2, a front supporting body 3 supporting the frame, a front coil 4 and a front spring 5 attached to the supporting body 3, a rear supporting body 7 supporting a rear lens 6, a rear coil 8 and a rear spring 9 attached to the supporting body 7, a magnet, a magnet supporting body 21 and a yoke 11. The coil 4 is arranged in an outside gap between the magnet and the yoke 11, and the coil 8 is arranged in an inside gap between the magnet and the yoke 11. By applying a current to the coil 4, the lens 2 is moved to a position where it is balanced with the elastic force of the spring 5. By applying a current to the coil 8, the lens 6 is moved to a position where it is balanced with the elastic force of the spring 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
