PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof composite member which is a steel product coated with a fire-resistant coating at a low cost by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This fireproof composite member is constituted by integrating the steel product 2 having an almost H-shaped cross-section with a plurality of through-holes 4, with concrete 7, preferably, fiber-mixed-and-reinforced concrete 7. In the almost H-shaped cross-section steel product 2, the through-holes 4 are formed only in a web 3; and the concrete 7 or the fiber-mixed-and-reinforced concrete 7, which is provided on both sides of the web 3 so that the web 3 can be embedded, is integrated by the concrete 7 or the fiber-mixed-and-reinforced concrete 7, which is infilled into the through-holes 4. The concrete 7 or the fiber-mixed-and-reinforced concrete 7 on both the sides of the web part 3, which is placed into a groove 6 formed of the web 3 and flanges 5 (5a and 5b), is integrated in such a shape as to be contained in the steel product 2.
