A steam valve, wherein a first valve device (21) formed of a valve seat, a valve element, a valve stem, and a drive device and a second valve device (22) formed of a valve seat, a valve element, a valve stem, and a drive device combined with each other are stored in a valve casing (23), and a closing part (41) partly stopping the flow of a main steam flowing from the outside to the inside of a strainer (27) is formed in the strainer (27) stored in the valve casing (23) and surrounding the valve element (29) of the first valve device, whereby a pressure loss can be further reduced by effectively controlling the flow of the main steam in the strainer stored in the valve casing.
