PURPOSE: Provided is an electrode assembly of an ultra-thin lithium polymer battery, in which an electrode plate is prevented from being separated outside during its insertion into a separator and the centering of an electrode plate is performed with ease. CONSTITUTION: The electrode assembly of an ultra-thin lithium polymer battery comprises: a bag-shaped separator(40) obtained by bending a plurality of layers in the orthogonal direction, and heating and cutting the layers to form a plurality of spaces only one side of which is opened; cathode plates(52) and anode plates(51,53), each of which is inserted into each space of the bag-shaped separator and has an electrode tab(55,57,60) at one side; and a lead(56,58) welded to the electrode tab(55). Additionally, the ultra-thin lithium polymer battery comprises the electrode assembly, a case for enclosing the electrode assembly and an insulating tape for insulating the lead with the case.
