The door of a motor vehicle has a torsionally rigid impact support installed inside it and is connected by fastening devices to the door frame components. At least one fastening device is constructed as a torsional adjustment device (7) by which a relative torsional adjustment and torsional fixing of the door in relation to the torsionally rigid impact support (5) for adjustment of the door torsion is carried out. Parts (8,9) of the adjustment device are separate component parts or formed on the impact support and/or door frame section (13).
