<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable speed gear for food factory capable of further highly securing the degree of freedom of installation while maintaining high safety. <P>SOLUTION: An orthogonal speed reduction mechanism (a shift mechanism) OR is sealed by using an oil seal 54, and a lubricant unharmful to the human body is used as seal grease (a seal part lubricant) SG for lubricating the oil seal 54.
