PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electronically control a multiple throttle device applied to an engine of a motorcycle etc. and to assure synchronizing of throttle valves with each other. SOLUTION: The multiple throttle device includes a plurality of throttle valves 20, 20 disposed at a plurality of intake passages 11, throttle shafts 30 for simultaneously opening or closing the valves 20, a drive means 50 for driving the shafts 30, and a return spring 60. The drive force of the means 50 is operated at a substantially center of the shaft 30, an energizing force of the spring 60 is operated in the vicinity to be affected by the drive force, and bearings 40 are provided between the plurality of the passages 11 to support the shaft 30. Thus, a deflection of the shaft 30 is prevented, and the valves 20 are synchronized with each other, and are opened or closed without phase deviation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
